  Guide Dogs NSW/ACT exists to enhance the quality of life of people living with blindness or impaired vision, by assisting in their achievement of independence through access and mobility.

  A non-profit registered charity aiming to minimise visual disability by increasing community awareness and understanding of glaucoma.
• Macular Degeneration Foundation
  National organisation promoting awareness of degenerative diseases causing blindness, with programs for education, awareness, research and support.

• The Fred Hollows Foundation

• The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO)
  Ophthalmologists are medical eye specialists. The College's mission is the improvement of the already high standard of eye care in Australia and New Zealand. In pursuit of this mission, the College provides a variety of services centred on its core roles as a higher educational institution and learned society.
• Optometrists Association Australia (OAA)
  Optometrists Association Australia is the peak professional body for optometrists in Australia, with more than 3500 members and representing 95% of all practising optometrists. Since its formation, the Association has been committed to assisting optometrists deliver quality eye and vision care services across Australia.
• Orthoptist's Association of Australia
  Orthoptics is an allied health profession specialising in the diagnosis and management of disorders of eye movements and associated vision problems; performance of investigative procedures appropriate to disorders of the eye and visual system; and rehabilitation of patients with vision loss.
• Orientation and Mobility Instructors
  Orientation and mobility instructors teach vision-impaired people to move around the environment safely and with confidence. They work on a one-to-one basis.
• Guide Dog Instructors
  Guide dog instructors train dogs to guide people who are vision-impaired and also train these people to use a guide dog.
