About the Centre

	Centre for Eye Health (CFEH) is a joint initiative of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT and The University of New South Wales (UNSW).
	CFEH aims to save sight through the early detection of eye disease.
	CFEH reduces financial, geographic and social barriers to accessing the best eye imaging and diagnostic services available.
	With more than 30 state-of-the-art instruments in one location, the Centre and its team of clinical experts provides an extensive range of advanced tests to detect, investigate and monitor eye disease.

Statistics

	More than 7000 referrals have been received.	Correct as of 22nd August 2011 Note: Click on graph for larger image
	Close to 35,000 individual tests have been conducted.
	Over 40% of clients were born overseas.
	More than 70% of clients travel more than 45 minutes to be assessed at CFEH.
	Over 900 eye-care practitioners are registered to utilise the Centre.
